My Much-Maligned Mercedes aka “Triple M” was finally put to rest last week.
My longtime vehicle finally hit the point where the cost of repairs needed didn’t justify keeping it. My plan was always to drive the car until it could no longer be driven – and though it endured some “reputational damage” in its last days from my loved ones (mostly in good fun) it was a reliable car for a long time.
When you find yourself without a car here in America, there’s a sudden sense of urgency to get a replacement. I hadn’t had to deal with that for quite some time, so it was in some ways a new experience. Certainly unfamiliar at the least.
I spent the better part of a week getting a replacement vehicle, taking care of some necessary repairs and what not. And when it was all said and done, it gave me something to think about regarding my approach to my business and my life.
I shared those thoughts on my podcast this morning and I invite you to give it a listen.
