[Performance] Two performances in Vietnam announced

Trumpeter James Newcomb is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Vietnamese virtuoso pianist Đoàn Nhật Anh for a mini-series of concerts in the EcoPark area, just outside of the capital city of Hanoi.

“I became familiar with Nhat last fall when my wife showed me his facebook profile. I was blown away with his skill and dazzling performance acumen,” says James. “I’m beyond thrilled to partner with him for these performances.”

The program will consist of:

Concerto for Trumpet in E-Flat Major by Franz Joseph Haydn
Legende by George Enescu
Grand Russian Fantasia by Jules Levy
Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin, arr. by Brandon Ridenour

Mr. Anh will also perform a number of selections on solo piano.

The first performance will be at the conclusion of the EcoPark Piano Festival, to be held in July 2021. The second is scheduled for 8 August 2021 at British University of Vietnam.
