New social platform leads to legit gig

I’ve been talking a bit about a new social media platform called Social Lair. I’ve distanced myself from social media as of late – although it never really served a good purpose for me in the first place.

Then when I began to become aware of the privacy concerns, the addictive nature, how the major platforms are designed to literally give people of all ages a dopamine high, and stay glued to their phone, I distanced myself even more.

But when I heard about Social Lair, how it’s designed specifically for business people to conduct business, to build a community or tribe around their message and mission, I knew I wanted to get it on it.

And within a day or so of signing up, lo and behold there was a post on someone’s “lair” about needing help with video editing, as well as doing narration to go with training videos.

So I put my name in the hat, and so far so good. It looks as though I got a new client from it.

And I didn’t have to sell my soul, nor that of my children to the Zuckerborg.

If you want to check out Social Lair, I’m accepting invites to join my own lair. You won’t see any cat videos, but you might pick up a gig if you know where to look.

Just send me an email to let me know, and I’ll send the invite to you.
